LIMA - HUARAZ
Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel located in the Historic Center of Lima, a district full of colonial charm and cultural richness.
After check-in, you’ll have the chance to stretch your legs and take a short walk through the heart of the city, including a visit to the iconic Plaza Mayor of Lima, surrounded by impressive colonial architecture, lively squares, and local flavors.
This is a great way to get your first taste of Peru’s history and energy before your adventure truly begins.
We will transfer you to the airport in Lima to catch your flight to Huaraz, the gateway to the stunning Cordillera Blanca, one of the most majestic mountain ranges in Peru, which also includes the famous Cordillera Huayhuash. Upon arrival, our team will greet you and take you to the Callejón de Huaylas, where you will stay and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere while acclimating to the altitude.
During the day, we’ll take you on a City Tour of Yungay, exploring its main attractions and its fascinating natural surroundings. Then, we’ll visit the Campo Santo de Yungay, a place full of history and emotion, connecting us with the region’s past and cultural heritage.
After these visits, we’ll transfer to Yungay, where you will spend the night to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the area. This will be the perfect time to relax and continue adapting to the altitude before continuing to explore this beautiful and unique region.
Parón Lake in the Night
The journey to Parón Lake will take us through picturesque Andean villages and dramatic mountain scenery. Once we reach the lake, you’ll have the chance to admire its breathtaking beauty and take in the tranquil atmosphere. You can also enjoy a short hike around the lake or simply relax and take in the views of the surrounding peaks, such as the majestic Huascarán, Peru’s highest mountain.
After spending time at the lake, we’ll return to Yungay in the late afternoon for a well-deserved rest.
