Trekking 69 Lake

$80 $25 per person

This is the standard route to reach Laguna 69.

Or, if you’d like something a bit more descriptive and professional:

This is the most common and accessible route used by visitors to reach Laguna 69, starting from the base in Huaraz and passing through the stunning landscapes of the Cordillera Blanca.

Main Access Route to Laguna 69

The most common and accessible way to reach Laguna 69 begins in the city of Huaraz. From here, travelers are transported by vehicle through the Callejón de Huaylas to the Llanganuco Valley, located within Huascarán National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

The route passes by the beautiful Chinancocha and Orconcocha Lakes, continuing to Cebollapampa (3,900 m), the official starting point of the hike. From this point, the trail gradually ascends through high-Andean landscapes, waterfalls, and breathtaking mountain scenery, culminating at Laguna 69 at 4,600 m.a.s.l., nestled beneath the impressive Chacraraju glacier.

This route is ideal for acclimatized hikers looking for a challenging yet rewarding full-day trek, surrounded by some of the most iconic peaks of the Cordillera Blanca.
