How you prepare yourself for Altitude?

Physical Preparation:
  1. Cardiovascular Training: Improving your cardiovascular endurance is essential. Running, swimming, cycling, or using an elliptical machine are good options.
  2. Strength Training: Strengthening major muscles, especially the legs, is crucial. Exercises like squats, lunges, and weightlifting can be helpful.
  3. High-Intensity Training: Include high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to improve endurance and lung capacity.
  4. Acclimatization Training: If possible, do hikes and excursions at lower altitudes to acclimatize your body to the gradual altitude change.
  5. Climbing Practice: If the mountain you plan to climb involves technical climbing, it’s crucial to practice and improve your climbing skills.
  6. Flexibility: Incorporate stretching exercises into your routine to improve flexibility and reduce the risk of injury.
