1. EXPEDITION LOGISTICAL
  • IPERC Matrix (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control)
  • Hypoxia of COVID Vs Hypoxia of Altitude Sickness
  • Oximeter or Pulsimeter?: Correct use of this technical tool, care, reading, deficiencies
  • First and Second Degree Hypothermias. Freezes.

2. EXTRACTION OF THE WOUND

Rope chair, Sedan chair, Loaded, Dragging: Know and apply the different international methods to extract the injured from the red zones (Danger Zones and / or accident zones)

3. STABILIZATION OF THE WOUND
  • Pulmonary Edema and Cerebral Edema. Knowing how to recognize the symptoms and how to prevent them.
  • Epilepsy.
  • Heimlich maneuver. (jamming)
  • CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation in Covid-19 context)
4. IMMOBILIZATION OF THE WOUND
  • Fractures, Dislocations: Know and elaborate the Immobilization knots
  • External hemorrhages. The tourniquet
  • 1st and 2nd Degree Burns.
  • Correct Use of the FIRST AID Kit.
5. WOUNDED EVACUATION
  • Rescue Crevasses, cliff and confined sites. Know the techniques of muffle and pulleys in order to rescue a wounded person.
  • Self-rescue. Know how to get out from crevasses, cliff or confined places by yourself.
  • Immobilizing stretcher knot: Know, practice and make the latest international techniques in rescue stretchers.
  • Uses and improvisation of the rescue collar.
  • Move and put on the wounded to the stretcher.
  • Move and rescue techniques for the injured.
  • Wounded monitoring and checking.
  • Release: Aspects you have to considerate to leave the wounded to the corresponding entity (hospital)
  • Organize a strategy for an urgency or emergency event.
